I have an s400sx. Great performance turbo. Unfortunately the spool rate is horrendous for daily driving. Anyone have any suggestions for a low pressure turbo that will match my s400sx well.

2001 eclb 12v 5 speed 5x0.020 injectors. Benched 215 p7100 pump 5k gsk 27° timing full cut dv's. air dog 150. s400 75/87/1.1 turbo. Fully built block.

Honestly, your current turbo is not going to make a great primary with the small turbine housing and wheel. At a minimum a larger t6 housing would be needed. To answer your question I would use a super b special or 63/68.
So something like a s300 s500 setup. Basically I split the hairs a screwed myself.
