09 Ram so if I remember right 07+ fits
Prefer new over reman
160a may be ok I'm not running a ton of electrical but would like to look at a 180a or maybe 220a. I know there's larger out there but do the really need 270a or bigger

We have been trying to find one but sadly no one carries them for cummins for some reason...... we are still trying and doing what we can to contact people that may carry them for ya!

DC is way bigger than I need and extremely pricey
Mechman would be a decent option but still a chunk of money and over what I'm needing really. I haven't ever used their diesel alternators so can't say if they put out rated
have you looked on ebay dodge ram alternators up to 350 amp for $250 i believe. mechman is another good way just expensive
Ya mentioned in that post. On eBay I don't think they have any for 09
What about a OE Cummins dual alt setup?
