Possibly Doing a 2nd Gen Swap

Hey guys I'm considering doing a second gen swap with an aftermarket turbo. Will any excess tuning be needed? Or will the VGT maps not matter anymore and i turn off all VGT related codes and be fine?

There are slight adjustments that may need to be made depending on how big your going, I personally drive a 2015 with a s476-87-1.0 on stock fuel and a 68RFE with no spooling issues.

So you just did your swap and that's it? Or did you have to turn of DTC's as well

what software are you using. back when I did My 2015 (Chrismas day of 2014) Tuning for those trucks was still in its infancy and no one had done it before, even a lot of my kit had to be fabbed. you will likely have turbo speed sensor and VGT position DTCs
