There's a couple of guys on here complaining about their Nissan. You may want to avoid them for now. As much as I don't like Toyota, I hear they are using the same motor in the Tundra or what ever that POS is. I just don't like Jap cars anyway.

For the buck, Dodge seems to be the best value and they're not bad trucks.

Toyota isn't putting a diesel in the tundra. At least not in the states. And for a Jap company 95% of the Tundra is built and assembled in the US. I had a Tundra before my Ram...Got rid of it for piss poor fuel economy and drastically outdated technology, definitely won't be going back to a Toyota for a truck.

Gonna avoid the Nissan too after input on this thread.

Just gotta make the deciding choice on a small truck or a big truck!! And I agree, the Ram is a great truck and price friendly for the features. It's a strong contender for sure!

My thoughts as well. But really it's just the principle of driving a truck this big. Fortunately she doesn't have a parking deck to deal with, but parking in our area is awful.

Then there's the garage situation......😐😐😐😐 LOL

Well there you go. Maybe it's not the Turdra. It's supposed to be going in their full sized jokeup. I've had Toyotas in the past. I was glad they got wrecked. My guys talked me into buiying them for company trucks. I don't keep track of the models so. . . . The guys at Nissan told me about Toyota using the V8. They weren't too happy about it

You are correct. 94% is done here. But the parts are made in Japan like my wife's Hyundai Tucson. They buy the paint and labor here

Don't get me wrong, as a former Toyota salesman I like some of their products. And the tundra is a strong truck. But they are crazy expensive to operate and maintain, and they really don't make good fleet vehicles. As much as I had fun with mine, I won't be a repeat customer.

And let's not forget that Toyota as a whole is like 8 years behind the competition on technology. Especially in the engine department.

Is she comfortable at all driving your truck ? The more she drives it maybe she will be more comfortable ? Im just under 5' and it was a learning experince at 1st when I started driving my trucks. Now it drives me batty to have to be a passenger in a car, yuuuuck LOL. And theres nothing wrong with having his and hers trucks 😆 My husband and I have had 3 sets of matching his and hers trucks and that is a awesome feeling. And as far as the garage parking, let her have the garage... BUT only on the days that end in "Y" jk ;-)

Yea she is but she's only drove it 3 times and one of those was off road. She gets nervous in tight roads and in heavy traffic. But she does well outside of that.

I know there's a learning curve for sure, just not sure if it's one that she would want to tackle as a daily driver. But that's why I wanted feedback!

And she gets the garage as is, but the Ram barely fits in there and has to be backed in a smaller truck would be far easier to fit in the garage. But that's not an objection so far.

Car salesman! That explains everything!!! LOL

I wouldn't know about their tech dating. But in spite of themselves, they just got knocked back to the 2nd largest car maker in the world by VW. I detected allot of GM influence. That right there is a deterrent for me.

Maybe you both just need to take a day or two and go out and test drive all the possible trucks that have crossed your minds then do a pro/con list ?? But yes i agree that "comfort" needs to be an important factor. Good luck !!!!
