    Re: MM3 Tuner Troubleshooting

I got a question on programming.

I understand that the J1939 Connector needs to be installed to initially program the ECM.

Once I program the ECM, can I remove everything and put the dummy plug on again?

I only ordered the 30HP and don't need to monitor or SOTF.

I will set that all up in my other truck.

Just trying to cover my bases before I start all this.

I bought one tuner hoping to do both trucks.

    Thanks

Yes you can remove the tuner once programmed if that is your wish.

    Thank you sir!

I figured, once written I would be ok, wasn't sure if it was a signal thing or not to the box that would of tripped something.

No the tuner will have errors running with a splitter.

You'll have to leave the tuner unplugged if you must have a data logger device plugged in.

So once the tune is set I don't have to have it plugged in and it will all work properly?

Or is there another tuner you can suggest that will work with a splitter.

Once the truck is programmed, the tuner can be removed.

    We only recommend the MM3.

Are you able to unplug the OBD and still drive the truck?
