4th gen Park/ neutral safety bypass?

So I have been doing some looking. I have found products you can buy to get the GPS/DVD player on the dash while driving. But for $400 I'd be willing to bet there is a wire to cut or splice to get the same effect. Has anyone done this or heard of it being done?

The truck in question is a 2012 Laramie crew 2500

Idk but I'd be afraid to with such a sensitive Canbus communication system that these trucks have.

On my aftermarket radio I looked at the wiring diagram and it was a ground wire that was supposed to be in with the ground switch for the parking break dash light... I'd say try to find a wiring diagram for the radio pig tail

I used a micro bypass switch, no need to splice up your wires to the parking brake. Like this - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A9AQPUU..._SGDKybS3EKZ8J
