    RaceME Ultra Trans Tuning 68RFE?

    So my buddy has a 2013 with 68RFE he was running the rame003b firmware and was happy with the shift firmness and torque converter lockup felt good. We updated his tuner today to rame006b(latest update) he says the trans feels terrible now and is seeing much higher torque converter slippage.

    He is using the "stock transmission" option under transmission on the settings which is supposed to up the line pressure and firm up the shifts. He says it feels terrible now and wants to put back the original files back in the tuner. (Luckily I made a backup of the whole memory card)

    Any ideas would be awesome.

    Just like any time you flash. Give time to relearn with driving. If it's still not something he's happy with them no harm going back
    There's always a chance he won't like the old shifting after now though to

    RaceME Ultra Trans Tuning 68RFE?

    I have a 13 with updated WARP tuning that is having the same issues. Something changed on Racemes' end. Mine used to shift awesome but now the converter can be felt unlocking and slipping before every 3-4, 4-5, and 5-6 shift. Ray is aware of the issue and is trying to work with Raceme to come up with different strategies. Once they do identify what changed, I would guess Raceme will make a change as well.

    Me too! Ray was able to lessen it, but it's still there. I usually drive like grandpa anyway so I just keep it in mind.

    Yep. It unlocks just before shifting. The rpms rise then it goes into the next gear. My truck appears to be some type of a anomaly as I had some other issues with Raceme tuning that only Ray seemed to be able to fix.

    If mine had always done it it wouldn't be so bothersome, but unfortunately I previously had nice firm shifts with Ray's tuning and then it went away when Raceme made some changes to firmware i believe, so I know what I'm missing.
