First post and I already screwed up!

Thought I was doing good with my first post introducing myself but I posted in the FAQ instead of the New Members... I'll catch on someday!

HAHA Thanks! Anyhow now that its in the right spot. Hello everybody, my name is Chris and I'm trying to make sense of all the info out there about "fixing" these 4th gen trucks. I've had a 2nd gen, 3rd gen, and now 4th gen not in that exact order but I gotta say as of now my 2nd gen that I just got rid of was the best truck I've ever owned. 2001 5.9 HO NV5600 230k on it and the frame rotted through from the inside in the front where the steering box mounts. Now I have this 2016 that shifts like crap making it tow like crap too and I'm getting ready to hopefully solve all those problems including having a Cummins that sounds like a car and smells like a litter box. LOL! Hope I can lean on everyone here to steer me in the right direction.

Sounds like you need a MM3 Tuner to fix all your problems.

That's kinda the thought process that got me to this forum! There seems to be alot of people running all sorts of different tunes but the one thing that a large majority of us have in common is the 68RFE. What can I safely run and I mean every day daily driver with little to no chance of killing the trans "safely" run for a tune option on the MM3? I dont need tons of power, the truck seems to have decent power if the trans would put it to the ground. That said im not against more if I can safely do so! I loved the way my 2nd gen sounded with 5" straight pipe and I see the videos of the 5.9 sound tune. Are these strictly novelty tunes for the idle or can they be run every day and perform like the normal VGT tune? Also with say a 5.9 tune does the EB work at all?

Whats it cost to be a lifetime member? I've already been to Double R site and priced up a package deal for the truck but i have some questions once they open.
