Does it really make a big difference?

As from factory?
I've heard a lot of good things about it for 68 and 48.
Tow/haul is the way to go for a valve body to not keep constant pressures high I believe.
Even if you have a 800HP truck I've heard the tow/haul valve body is perfect for it for a DD.
I don't have personal experience with it YET but I'm sure it's worth it.
Maybe someone with one will chime in.

Yes, if you have your trans tuned after install to take advantage of the benefits it can offer.
I understand line pressure can be bumped up to 225 (I think), but what else?
Has anyone on this forum actually installed one in a stock 68, what were the results, why was it worth it, etc.?
I have the valve body installed on my 68.
It seems to have helped somewhat.
I don't know that I would scream it aloud from the rooftops, but it is helpful.
It will also depend on your mods,as to what your drivability will be.

Interest in this as well as I plan on getting one the first of the year and having ray rework my warp tuning
2015 2500 CCSW Outdoorsman black badging, ram matts black steps, XD Crank 801's with 35/12.50/18 Toyo MT's, tinted widows, BDS 2" leveling kit with shocks race me ultra, flo pro 5" turbo back exhaust
I have, but my trans was kind of on its way out from driving too long on a worn out valve body.
Revmax was nice enough to apply credit toward my purchase of a 550 when the trans completely went out a few weeks after the VB install.
If you have a fairly fresh trans, and aren't doing more than just a tune on your motor, then that's a good time for a VB and a trans tune.
It's like a steering box brace, you put it in when things are good, and it helps keep things that way.
Don't use it as a bandage, like I did.
Does Ray have any experience tuning trucks with the valve body?
Any real difference?
I've got a customer that just has the VB from Revmax in his 2015.
Before he even loaded the tune with the higher line pressure setting, he said just the VB made a big difference.
He said it was even better after the tune.

Ray maybe you can explain from a tuners point of view things that you can do different or better with the valvebody in place and we can form an opinion on if we would like to get one or not.
