    Perform service warning reset

    Hi

I have the perform service warning coming up on the dash every time i start the truck up. I think this warning is for the 67,000 mi service which involves changing a few filters, service the axles and cleaning the EGR.

I have reset the oil change warning by pressing the throttle pedal 3 times at key on, Is it possible to reset the perform service warning by a similar procedure or do i have to pony up and head to the dealer.

    Ram 2500 SLT 2012 6.7l No Delete/Still Stock

    Thanks

There was a recent post on this issue just a couple days ago that had instructions on resetting. It should be pretty easy to find. You are suppose to be able to reset it but it's more then just pressing the throttle.

I read your post after I posted being stock it would be best to get the service as I think they clean your egr and possibly turbo as well as replacing CCV filter. It all gets pretty nasty.
