I got a 2016 tradesman that didn't come with remote start. Does anybody know of a good kit that I can get installed that has had it done already?? I been reading online but haven't got a for sure answer on anything yet

You know in wondering the same. I have an 06 cummins and would like a remote start as well. Sure I can go to a shop and pay $500 or so doll-hairs to get it installed but I'd be happy with a kit I can do myself. I'm more than comfortable and skilled enough to do so but don't know if a kit to buy! So if you don't mind I'm going to jump in this boat with youOriginally Posted by Matt8027

Can't recommend a kit but I can say it's going to get expensive because of the electronic keys

I'm remote starting my 05 Ram and a kit all depends on a few things. What options you want with it and if you have the chipped key it's the grey key but if you have the black key it's easyYou know in wondering the same. Where do you live? Is there a motor sports shop around you? Of course dealer can do it but your looking at probably $1000
