Do you still get the code?
Have you changed anything?

Beings this is an old post l don’t know if you will get a reply.
I had the P226C code pop up last January and again in July.
Currently I am just monitoring and clearing the code.
Since the first occurrence I have been leaving my exhaust brake on to exercise the turbo veins and added 12oz of Archoil system cleaner after the second time.
Will continue to monitor.

Trucks ebrake runs strong. Boost seems normal. No funny signs. I notice a cel would pop up asap as soon as the exhaust brake engaged for a second following and immediate acceleration. I wonder if that can trigger a false alignment. Also truck had 15k miles full delete now has almost 35k. I had 20k miles with the p226c code pop up maybe 3 - 4 times in that stretch.
Nothing unusual with mine either runs great and all seems normal. I did my full delete at 50K and had the first code at 53K. Since I only had the two events I haven’t been able to figure out what may be triggering it yet. Hopefully others that have experienced this code will chime in.

Might be a long shot but check your intake piping after the turbo and also the cooler for leaks. It would have to be a pretty big leak but worth a shot.
Also check the intake Temp/Pressure sensor - might be plugged with soot. If it hasnt been cleaned after deleting.
