    DEF Tank Removal

Wasn't sure where to post this so throwing it here.

Has anyone removed the DEF tank after deleting and tuning?

Mine is all done but I havnt removed the tank and wondering if it's worth messing with or just let it ride.

I did not remove mine and really no point to do so.

What I did was, I got under the truck and by the top of the tank there is a inlet hose on the side.

Take that hose off and use a fluid transfer pump.

To remove all extra DEF so it will not chrystalize in the tank.

If you remove it and the supporting crossmember you can then fit a titan long range tank if you need the extra fuel capacity.

If you can afford the tank, you'll be in heaven when long hauling with an over size tank. I get from the Nashville area to Amarillo Tx with mine.

Old thread here but was curious if the snow kit working out of def system has treated you well. Very close to doing this - trying to figure out the most practical/cost effective/clean setup
