With the box tuning I wouldn't recommend it. With warp it's ok.

One of my buddy's has a raceme ultra that did the exact same thing. Come to find out it was a voltage issue will programing the tuner to the truck. Try hooking a battery charger and reinstall/reprogram the tuner to your truck. It solved his problem.

    Hey Kumrow99:

I have been having the same issue with my truck. I found that my VGT percentage is ~85% at idle and then when I apply the accelerator pedal slowly the truck surges as you are describing. I found that if I plug in the EGR cooler servo it brings the idle VGT percentage down to 44% (which, according to Franz is what it should be running at). I tried using a charger to program but it but this did not work for my problem either. I am running it with the servo plugged in for now but I am hoping, in a future firmware revision this will be fixed.

From what I have read, it seems like the issue is only happening on trucks with the 5 wire cooler servo that is on the 13 and up pickups rather than on the trucks with the old style egr cooler bypass servo.

I have the same problem, it's been progressively getting worse but every now and then it runs fine.

I have not tried unplugging the Exhaust Pressure Sensor but I did get a code saying it was bad and replaced it but it didn't help.

Been scratching my head over this one for a while now.

**Misread original post** Updating the Ultra won't fix your issue but I'll leave the link anyway.

What version/update are you currently running?

You could start by updating it if you've not already.

I'll post the link below that'll help you do that if you choose to do so.

The box tuning has been known to do that for certain trucks.

Usually the only way to fix that is custom tuning.

    Honestly I don't even remember.

Bought it as a package from a dealer out of Texas.

Wish I would've heard about Double R before I bought it.

And I never have updated it yet so that could definitely help.

    Thanks

DRD can fix that if you can't get it right friend.
