2016 Ram 2500, Deleted & Tuned by DRD, 5 in Flo-Pro exhaust, REVMAX ZeroFlex Valve Body, Thuren 2.5 Fox suspension.
I asked AMP Research what the steps do on the OBDII port and this was their response:
"Our OBDII plug only listens to the BCM for the software codes to determine when the doors are opened. They do not transmit or send out any signals."
I ordered the AMP research pass through cable. Had a cheap Amazon one, but the steps would not work when plugged into it, didn't even try the MM3 monitor. I guess if there are problems I will be figuring out the hard wire solution.
I have the obd plug setup with the raceme ultra. Switched to hard wire just in case

I have been running the AMP splitter with no problems for the past couple of months. The MM3 and AMP Steps both work great.
Where did you get your AMPs? I’m about to order some as soon as I can sell these GoRhinos!! I’ll be hardwiring mine though.

Just wanted to see how everyone with the OBD2 splitter was Doing with their boards and tuners, and if you’ve had any issues since you posted any of your responses.

I am running the splitter and having issues with my MM3.
Not sure if they are related; just digging into it today.
