    Uhf/cb radio aerial

Just wondering what anyone uses for a uhf 2 way radio aerial and where do you mount them?
I dont have a aftermarket front bar yet so just chasing ideas.
If you can give advice with pictures and model etc

You won't find too many members on here using uhf....
USA uses 27mhz cb band or hf to be precise.
I suggest you get an icom 450, they have all controls on the mic and a box you can mount under the dash.
Get a ground plane independent antenna and a gutter mount.

I have a 60" fiberglas 1/2 wave top load mounted on a hood tab. It uses the battery bracket bolt under the hood. It's far enough back so it's not in the way and far enough away so you don't get body deflection. I use a Uniden plain old conventional. The ones with all the crap in the mic can be troublesome with the wires over time. I found the integrated mic distracting too.

Arb make some mounts that should fit the front guard. They are a bit flimsy though.
