    You send them your paint code after purchase. Expect minor paint touch up. I had about 4 rock chip size spots on the top and bottom from shipping.

    I have painted chrome parts many times thru the years and the best prep is to brush blast the parts. that means you sandblast the parts just enough to roughen the surface (dull the surface) or you sand the surface with 180 grit paper and a red scuff pad. there cannot be any shine at all.

    It is time consuming for a good result.

    When that's done a good quality epoxy non sanding primer followed by base clear.

    Seems to hold up good.

    Funny, I dig the chrome.

    The trend now is to get rid of all the chrome.

    Maybe it comes from my love of old classic cars when they had style.

    I'm actually looking to get my custom bumper on my 2015 Ram chromed soon LOL.
