I've been using Collinite No. 476 super Doublecoat.

Seems to do the job just wondering what everyone else is using.

Is paste better than liquid wax? Can you put to much wax on say like 5 coats a month or is that overkill?

I don't know about the clay bars. I usually don't go that extensive on a work truck. Then again I would NEVER own a black truck. LOL

I think past is better because it makes you rub the surface which will clean the paint some and works the wax into the surface. Seems to wear longer than these wonder waxes. The stuff I use lasts through the winter pretty well. It's due now. I have to wheel out some scratches this weekend

I have some scratches too. Will a good wax prevent scratches?

No. but it can reduce them. Many scratches can be polished out. You can do it if you get a small polisher. You need to use a quality machine polish
