    THE BATTLE OF RUST! - Found A Really Good One Stop Solution

    @Polaraco; re-booting this thread.

    I was wondering if you still own this rig.

    If so, what are your thoughts on the KBS treatment five years later?

    I have been using Fluid Film.

    While it does the job, the truck requires a yearly under carriage touch-up.

    I am exploring other options.

    Gee, too bad we dont salt the roads here.

    I will never get to experience all that rust.

    I see rigs from the rust belt and always tell myself if I was a tech back east, I'd just quit.

    I noticed many unpainted or barely painted surfaces when I bought my truck new, at 1900 miles.

    I went under it and went through 6 tall cans of flat black rustoleum paint.
