Hello all!
I just bought an old 12 valve not too long ago and thought I would join this forum to connect with other Cummins fans and possibly learn more about my pickup! Honestly I didn't really like it when I first bought it; it's a manual and I thought it took too much effort to drive and I wasn't very good on the clutch and I always thought I was gonna break the thing but now I'm a little more better at driving it and I kind of really like it! I've just built a head ache rack for it (so I have a place to mount lights and attach tie down points for straps) and besides color matching the bed rails and running boards black and getting rid of the chrome I don't really know what else I'd really do to it. I'd throw some steel bumpers on there if they weren't so expensive but I don't know.. if I sell my corn this fall for $4-$5/bushel this fall I'll probably spend the money! The pickup as it is has never seen winter roads and there is very little rust on it and I'd love to keep it that way so I will be parking it this winter and rolling around in a beater this winter. I'm gonna try and attach a picture of it, I'm not sure if I've got that part figured out on here. For some reason it's flipped on it's side when I upload it on here and on my computer where I have it it's right side up. If this doesn't work out I may need some guidance from someone more familiar with the sight to let me know how to properly upload a picture. Whether I attach it as a thumbnail or do that add picture option it turns out the same soo.. yeah. Here we go:..

Oh and my twitter and insta is @mericangrit if anyone wants to connect with me there. If you post a lot about your Cummins I'll more than likely follow you back. I'm always looking for other Dodge/Cummins people to talk to!
