Defuel???

I keep seeing the term defuel level with some of the tuners. what does this mean?

Defueling is essentially setting a parameter at which the tuner will cut back fuel so that you don't exceed said set parameter. Typically they're set for boost levels, EGT's, coolant temp, trans temp. Depending on your truck and tuner it's likely not recommended that you use defuel settings on your tuner though as they will often lead to issues. You're far better off to monitor your engine parameters yourself and defuel with your right foot as necessary.

What are the details on the truck and tuner that you're using?
