Good afternoon guys,
I've been slowly purchasing items for my delete. The only item I need now is a tuner. I want to eventually do EFILive, but my understanding is that I will need the Bullydog 40428 first. So I went to a pretty reputable diesel shop up here in Canada, and they are telling me that the 40428 does not work on the 2016s. Due to some software changes FCA did for the 2016s. Is anyone able to confirm this?

(I know Bullydog isn't well recommended on this forum, just from reading posts over the last year or so.) But it seems like it is mandatory, if I eventually want to use EFI.

Look into the Raceme Ultra, you will not regret it.
If your looking for an all in one package @Double R Diesel can set you up. Become a premium member and his discount covers that and then some. If you want to go EFI look to @higherpowerperformance Jonathan is super good to deal with.

I also would recommend raceme over efi, and at least least email Ray at info@doublerdiesel.com
But if your heart is set on efi, you're looking at the wrong bullydog. That one is delete capable itself I believe and that why it don't work on 2016. The one you need for just unlocking the ecm is 40420. It's a throw away tuner for unlocking the ecm to run efi.

I currently have EFI Live on my 2014 and it is amazing. But seeing what Ray can do with a raceme....... No compare in my opinion. There's things that EFI just doesn't support like raceme.
