Awesome! high points nice, not crazy busy but not a ghost town. The car/truck scene is dead now due to a huge street racing bust a few years ago. But theres still some lurkers!

I was hoping someone might be able to tell me if the higher pitched tapping sound I now hear every morning since my oil change is a cause of concern? Goes away either when the engine warms up, or if I tap the gas a couple of times.

Never noticed it before, and it just sounds way louder than typical diesel rattle.

5w-40 of whatever the dealership put in it.

Did you check for exhaust leaks on the manifold? Does the tap increase with rpm?

It's prominent on the intake side of the engine. It does vary slightly with RPM, but usually a quick tap of the gas and it goes away. Truck only has 14k on the clock.
