I was hoping that it would've been more black than grey....But I still think it looks better than the chrome.

I had the same issue. I sprayed my front and rear bumper but peeled it off. I didn't like how great it is. I talked to my body shop guy and he said he would paint them for pretty cheap but he said the sides of the back bumper would chip easy because of the tires picking up rocks.

Well I did plastdip the first time and peeled it off cause it was chipped pretty bad. This is actual paint so no peeling this LOL. Probably end up doing a couple of coats of darker black in the future.

Did you use a self etching primer? Or sanded the chrome down any??

I took some 150 grit to the chrome and scuffed it pretty good. I doubt this will last any length of time. But my ultimate goal is HD bumpers.

Self etching primer probably would've been a good thing to use. Didn't think of it at the time though.
