Little dimple above the tail light yet, but look'in good.
Yep, I'm going to wait till spring to do the finesse work. It'll be a little rippled up through the winter, I just want to get it on the road at this point. Getting both front wheel bearings replaced, new rotor, pads and shoes. I also picked up the bed side with my dad this past week. He's going to section it for me when we do the final body work.

Cleaning up real good. I guess I'm an old coot at heart, I prefer the older models even with all the bells and whistles the new ones have.
(Once the wife had her car out and while shopping someone desided to give her a body remodel and left before finding out who did it. Had to wait for 5 months until I could spend the time to fix it right. But well worth the wait. Thank God I had a spare vehicle for her in the mean time.)
Well, this thread is over a year old now 😔. The good news is, the truck has undergone substantial mechanical changes. After I replaced the oil cooler with the cracked gasket, the oil was still being pumped into the radiator. Along with the oil, the radiator was being pressurized to the point that it was puking out oil and antifreeze from the over flow tank. I took the truck to Competition Diesel and had them do the work. It was a blown head gasket. While it was apart, we put all new Cummins gaskets back on it, o-ringed the head, 4k governor spring kit, 60lb valve springs, turned up the fuel, advanced timing from 12° to 18.5°, ARP Head Studs, and #10 fuel plate. The truck is now under the knife getting a Built Tranny. Using high energy Borg Warner clutches, koleen steel's, custom valve body with shift kit, Sonnax billet input shaft, Goerend billet flex plate, and a Goerend triple disc torque converter with billet cover and stator. I went with a 15 blade which should lower my stall by 200-400. I'll post up once I get her back on the road in a week or two.
