    Losing voltage

    Hey guys I woke up this morning started my truck headed for work and about 10-15 min in and my check gauges light came on and my voltage dropped to 8 had this problem a few months ago speed in a auto zone grabbed a new alternator three it in in the parking lot haven't had a problem till this morning I shut off my truck restarted it and it didn't do it again do you gut have any idea what it could be

    Are you sure you're not seeing the grid heaters kicking on and off? We go through this every year

    Yeah it a check gauges light abs then the voltage meter drops to 8
