    Surface rust or more?

Looking at this truck, he says it's from the south and paint was peeling on the roof so it developed surface rust. Do you guys this this would be an easy fix if just surface rust and do you think it's surface rust or more?

I have a few options I am thinking of:

Temporary fix of sanding down to clean metal, anti rust primer, then paint only over the chipping spots

Taking down the whole truck and try to lay down a decent primer and paint job possible just a single stage enamel in white?

Scuffing the paint as it is, cleaning up any surface rust and add primer, then raptor lining the entire truck

Help with what? Actually sanding / painting? Also, that's what I'm thinking, if I can snatch it up for a decent price it's better than shelling out for an already redone truck

LOL. Wish I could help with a suggestion.

I agree though... If you can get it for a good price... I don't see any bubbles to indicate that the damage runs deep

Sounds like a good truck once you get the little bit of work done
