Thats from the other day when I looked at her. She is in my driveway now. Tonight to clear out 1 bay of the garage and find all my tools. (may need a week of nights to do this) Then.... To start ripping her apart. (if you need any drivetrain parts tell me)

Thought about D.E. already. Would want to do it with a Ranger. Motor and generator in the bed. and electric motor under the hood.

    You have that all wrong.

A/C gives you more start up torque than DC. (I think- - - tripping over the parts of my dead brain) Anyway, you need 30 HP motor for 2 wheel and 2- 15's for 4 wheel. Stick it right on the end of the carrier.

The higher the voltage, the lower the current. Put the 4 BT and gen set uner the hood. Need a gear box vor the gen so you can run the engine at low RPM. It's about 2 HP per Kilowatt. You can make a governor with a solenoid and control it with a solid state module.

You can use a DC or AC drive to control the speed with the pedal (Drive by wire) If 2 motors are used, they can be synced with each other. Mechanically the hardest part is mounting the motors. You'll need at least 60 HP for the low speed. At barely over idle, the sucker will get unbelievable mileage.

You want water cooled. You'd still be able eliminate the fan if you go electric. You can even put A/C in

I though about 4x 15hp wheel pancake motors

though my full electric pickup I put the electric motor to the 5 speed tranny no clutch as there is no real need for one.

Would love to toss a single 30HP i have around into a 5 speed and do a f150 that way
