In my past life I was a 2M0X1B Nuclear Cruise Missile Electronics something or other, then I cross trained into 1N4X1 Network Intelligence Analysis in the late 90's. I've been there every since, but in 04 I stepped out of the uniform and went back to work in khaki's and a polo shirt as a government contractor, I'm now an Army civilian (17A/35A MOS equivalent).

Not much to say, did a year in Nam humping the m60 (the daddy to the present SAW) through about every square foot of their mountain ranges.
When I got home, didn't want to stand still so I drove a rig for a few years.
Ended up as a light hydrocarbon molecular compressor spec, then in EH&S in an oil refinery until I retired.
Now the important daily item is get of of bed 'before' going to the bathroom ... the rest of the day I can handle.

Have done several things in life! Been a carpenter all my life. Had my own business building custom homes in Tx panhandle. Moved to Alaska and worked with US Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak in Search and rescue. Flew with and trained with the Coast Guard. Was also a wilderness first aid trainer in Alaska as well. Worked with national guard and navy seal cold water training facility in Kodiak Island Alaska. Moved back here to Texas and started turning wrenches for a living but have always done as a hobby. Was a machine tech 2 for Caterpillar and Advanced Ag Tech 2 for AGCO farm equipment. Now I work for John Deere as a utility tech. I'm a diesel fanatic and love doing what I do! Just had a total hip replacement last Wednesday and feel old as crap but I'm only 36. Just have lived a hard life so far I guess but it probably won't slow me down
