Why is my truck faster when it is set on 150 horse then the 200 horse?

Probably run out of fuel without supporting hard parts. It will spike the extra 200 but not hold very long is my guess

Can someone explain the definition of a "weak exhaust brake"? Just curious if I'm running into that issue with my truck. Letting off the gas at 65MPH in 6th gear the gauge reads 35-38HP on the brake. Dropping to 5th pulls it up to 45HP. I thought before the delete I was seeing like 75-80HP on the brake in 5th gear from 65.

Thoughts?

Hmm that does sound weak although since i deleted i really havent watched that gauge I watch the VGT% on the ultra but when i go to work in the morning I can see what mine reads. Mine is working good. I remember before deletes seeing in the neighbor of 70 to 80hp unless rpms were low

The Ultra reads 100% VGT but the MID says the aforementioned. Its not an issue as im unloaded so im just more curious than anything

Checked this morning. 65-70 I hit mid 80's. Even even at 1500rpm if i engage it its 65 or so. Are you auto or manual? I have a manual nit sure if that would make a difference
