    1994 12 valve cummins

I just bought a 94 12 valve with 183k on it. Was driving it for about a week and doing 80 no problems just dies. Pull off start it up. Starts great go to give it fuel dies. Do this twice. Shut the key all the way off get out open the hood move the throttle rod back and forth. Get back in start it up off I go. Didn't have another problem till about 3 hours later. Driving doing 50 dies. Shut it off unplug the solenoid and plug it back in then wiggle the rod start it up off I go. Why does this do it? The truck has 183,xxx miles on it just had a different fuel shutoff solenoid put on it that was off of a wrecked truck. Is this solenoid problems, linkage problems? Just trying to get help. Any and all info will help. Thank you Peter

Sounds like either the solenoid or a bad connection to it. Start it up and wiggle the crap out of the wire
