What exactly is a canbus bulb? Tried flipping all bulbs, and still nothing. Where do I go from here? Think I might take it to the auto electric shop in town. They're expensive but they're good

You may have too. I'd have to be with the truck. I've had this before.

Canbus LEDs are made specifically for these systems

    2003- 3500 RWD Automatic.
S & B intake, BD Intercooler, Pusher Air Horn, MM3 Double R Tuning, Turbo Timer, electric Flex-a-lite fans, FASS 95,
50 HP tips, upgrade to 351 turbo, 3.42 gears, Twin air compressors, air bags, Remote dual oil filters, Hellwig sway bar, Front Winch. Home made Fuel Heater, BD Exhaust brake with Torque Lock. Tons of TLC

A led replacement bulb requires you to put a load resistor in for each bulb replaced. If you get complete led replacement taillights it is built-in. If it's a back up light or another light that doesn't flash you don't need a resistor. The led turn signal uses a lot less power to operate and the truck reads the low power as a bulb being out, the resistor take care of that problem. Also LED's are polarity sensitive. My last two trucks I have converted to mostly LED bulbs, just need to do headlights and fog lights. If your looking for bright LEDs go to a parts store and get the evos, you can also get load resistors there. Just remember you get what you pay for so don't skimp out. If you want LED headlights and fog lights make sure you get 3 sided bulbs. I have spent a lot of time researching them and checking reviews, most of the people complain about the 2 sided LED headlights.
