    2012 emissions info

So im looking at potentially gettin a 2012 cummins and selling my 07. I know 2012 doesnt have the DEF yet but what all emissions stuff does it have? And what all can i take out if i get one and still pass emissions? I think our emissions is just plug in and check for codes type of thing(thats what they did on my 07), but i could be wrong.

ahhh so you have one of the highly sought after 07 5.9's!!! welp, not sure about emmisions testing because i dont deal with it at all, so cant tell you if that changes or not for you, but i bet it will since emissions equipment was required as of 2010. getting rid of the emissions equipment is actually pretty easy. just a bit on the spendy side

    Why is it costly?

The programmer can get expensive depending on which one you go with. For a 2012 the best one out there is H&S because it programs the trans computer as well as ecm and has the capability of custom tuning. But since they are under the EPA's watchful eye getting a delete capable one costs a bit
