Exclamation If You Need Help Protocol

Please do the following if you need help with your truck, urgent or otherwise.

You can't just say, "My truck won't start," and expect us to know the answers.

Make sure we know the year of the truck, what transmission, and what modifications this vehicle has.

    Describe the problem completely.

When did it start, and what was going on when it happened?

Sometimes the small details are more important than the big ones.

What was done to the truck just before this happened, if any?

Too often, we have to pry information from people as some of you are pretty good.

We don't mind helping you; we are here for that, and you must remember you are our eyes and ears.

That means we need you to describe the problem as if we were standing at the truck.

Doing this will get you a faster response and maybe a quicker fix.

We can't always solve the problem, but we will sure as hell try without a bunch of guessing.

Our group has some excellent talent, so let's not waste their time.

I certainly don't have all the answers and am wrong sometimes too.

If you have an idea, say it, as I'd rather see an educated guess cause it might spur a thought by one of our better techs.

If you don't have anything constructive, observe.

We are trying to keep these help posts on topic.

    Thanks, everyone.

I dunno about you, but I have way too much to do. Not to mention I have to reread a thread that has been dragged on. Old age sucks

If you don't tell us the year, trans, and mods on your truck, we're not going to help you.

Put in a signature, or define it somehow. NO MORE

Is there anyway we can make it monitory when signing up to join the forum you have to fill up the signature with your vehice information from the get go ?
It is a problem with the consent asking what year, mileage, trans, etc ..... as much as we do to help.

Knowing the basics helps so much for the people wanting to help other members.

We're sorry but that isn't possible at this time due to the Desktop View, Mobile View, or App View all being different.
