I'd say that the injection pulse needs to be tweaked as well as timing. Yes any tuner will leave a footprint in the ecm. Only ones that don't are pressure boxes how high are the egts exactly

allright i'll look them up.
i've been keeping them under 1200 but they just get there so fast. even taking off from a red light i have to lift my foot to let them come down. cruising down the highway at 70 they run about 1000, and thats with the truck empty i'll be pulling a trailer and i know there gonna go up with that on there. oh and the waste gate is plugged off on the turbo... just found that one out got to looking around and saw that.
Is there any tuning currently on the truck 1200 wot isn't really that bad

and what tune are you running on the smarty JR. ?
i have it tuned to performance with the torque at 2 and the timing at 4
how do you tweak the injection pulse?
You would need a custom tuning software or to run a lower setting on the smarty
