No not anywhere near what anyone says. First the thing I always say that the oil companies want to make as much as they can so why would they even take a chance at loosing 1 teaspoon of oil out of the well into the ground as far as contaminating any water table goes. We go way past the water table most wells are drilled to a depth of at least 8000' or more before they go horizontal. But one funny thing is Halliburton uses the DEF system on their Frac Pumps. Frac'n is like flying in an airplane and I am not sure I would want to be in the air when the plane decides to re-gen. We have had to wait on equipment to re-gen before we could finish the job.
