New side steps. Old ones got loose and rattled and the nutserts inside came loose so I couldn't tighten them any more. Previously had chrome ones and trying to loose as much chrome as possible.

I do follow the idea that you need to heat it up to clear it our every so often. I also ALWAYS have the EB on. Typically Full on unless I am traveling long distance, then I go to automatic. I have not had a code since some early trial and error, testing it with Ray. The code was simply that I had unplugged the EGR even though it was turned off anyway. at 40K miles I will have 33K miles on the EGR-less. I know several people who have had DPF and/or Turbo issues with less miles.

I’ve got about 18,000 on my EGRless with no issues so far. 38,000 total on the truck. Do any of you know what the ideal temps need to be to burn out the build up in the exhaust?
