The ole goat is starting to take shape! Looking good! How do you like the swing box? I was thinking of getting two of them for my truck.

It’s enough room for a couple straps jug of coolant and 3 bottles of power services additives LOL.

He didn’t like it because when he tried to unlatch it it would stick. So I removed it from his truck and noticed 2 bolts missing and the latch mechanism a little dirty so I installed it in mine and used brake cleaner and wd-40 on the mechanism and sent him a video of opening with one finger pull. LOL

Not today but over the last couple weeks the ole goat got some upgrades. New Nitto trail grapplers 35x12.50r18. Got the swing box from my dad because he didn’t like it. And full egr DPF and throttle valve delete and double r diesel full tuning option mm3

Most people that talk about their exhaust systems on forums like it LOUD. I'm coming out of the sound closet tonight, to admit to everyone that I have a 30" FTEDiesel resonator AND a 20"/14" Flo~Pro 7185 glass pack on my exhaust.

I installed an H&S Gen 2 swap and SX-E 366 turbo and it's a lot louder than the stock exhaust manifold and VGT. So I added the resonator directly to the downpipe to knock a little off and put the 4" race pipe and tailpipe back on. I drove the truck around and in 6th gear at 55-60 mph, going up small hills, it bellowed like there was a musk ox in the back seat. I didn't mess around by trying to move the resonator around, I just called Clayton (@Dude's Diesel Performance) and ordered a muffler. I asked Clayton not to tell anyone! LOL. I have 3.42 gears, so that's partly why I'm getting that low frequency bellow at that speed, when it's lugging a little.

I am impressed how the muffler, which is just a flow-through perforated pipe with some packing, killed the bellowing beast but didn't make it too quiet for me. I tow my boat to Canada (12-14 hour drive) and Northern MN (7-8 hours) a number of times each summer for muskie fishing. Just didn't want to listen to that for so long.

Anyway, I stand outed.

When I took her in last week for tire rotation I had asked if they could slap on 37’s to see if they would fit, they were skeptical b/c I have a 4” lift, but all they had in stock for 37s was the Toyos and they would have to trim so they wouldn’t rub, I said NO on trimming !!! They said Toyos are true to the the size so then I asked if they would fit with the Federal Couragias in 37s which are not a true 37 so they looked it up on their computer and BAM they said 99.9 % they would fit and sure enough they did I still have 1 1/2 “ clearing with NO rubbing at all !!!! And the whole set was still $23 cheaper than the 35’s !!!!!!! Score
