Purdy hope that that takes care of it for you.

I am planning my next headlights now. The rubber seals are failing on the cheap ebay headlights I used. Still deciding if I want to do another retrofit or just buy the factory projectors.

So these are TYCs and there was that butyl tape all around em with rtv...I pulled these open by hand with no oven. These weren't baked again when they were reassembled last time so the tape didn't melt the two sides together.

Personally I would scoop some factory projectors, but they are mad expensive

Good to know about the TYCs. And yeah, real factory projectors are way expensive but I keep hoping I will bump into a deal.

Mind you these had been opened before and just weren't sealed properly, hence why they opened for me so easy. I can't comment that new outta the box would be the same.

I will say these projectors are world's better than stock, cutoff is much sharper. But they also have a shroud that moves down when you click your high beams on to increase light on the road, in addition to turning the high beam bulb on.
