Re: What Did You Do To Your 4th Gen Today?

This weekend I finally got in a new mm3 monitor, cable and suction cup mount, I ordered warp tuning from Ray @DRD.

Purchased the factory trailer brake controller stuff, downloaded Alfaobd on my tablet and ordered the obdlink Mx+ to add the trailer brake controller and do the calibration on the turbo actuator.

The actuator went out on me and long story short, I got bad information and installed it without the calibration done.

I will be dropping the coolant and removing the actuator, calibrating it and installing it again next weekend.

I am waiting to get my transmission rebuilt and bumped up some with a stage 1.5-2 before I install the tunes and trans tuning for 225 psi.

The truck is already deleted and tuned but unsure of the previous tuner and since I didn’t have a monitor with the truck when I purchased it last year.

Looking forward to getting all this done so I can finally enjoy the truck.

Been looking at wheels and tires literally for 2 years.

Finally pulled the trigger on Fuel Hardline 20x9 +20mm wot Nitto ridge grapplers 35x12.50.

Replaced my Nitto Terra Grapplers which were also 35s but these are a full inch taller which required a little trim on the bottom of the flare and zip tied the inner fender liner back.

A heat gun to mold that ridge back worked wonders for me and looks good and no chance of water and mud on your pinch welds vs trimming. Also you can grind back the edge of the pinch weld and then put the plastic back over it and mold it.

I got fender flares that screwed in to where the wheel well liner holes are. It will keep mud, grime, and rocks off the side of your truck

    I tried a heat gun.

Didn't seem to work that great so just drilled 2 small holes and pulled the inner liner back with a zip tie.

Here's all I removed. Just the lower piece of the Laramie fender flares.
