    The AC is also controlled by the ECU ,, when mine went out it had plenty of refrig but the clutch was toast because the fan clutch wasn t working correctly, Changed AC ,,,then fan and all it well

    Actually it's controlled by a separate body module which is under the fuse box

    There is a blower motor resistor down by the blower motor under the dash, usually when that goes out your high speed will still work
