    2nd Gen electrical; blower motor

    Good afternoon, everyone.

I've been inactive for a bit, but I could use some help troubleshooting an electrical issue with my 2001 24V.

The blower motor/blend door actuator, located under the dash, stopped working a year ago.

I jumped the power for the blower motor under the hood by pulling the relay, and for the blend door actuator, I have been switching it by hand as needed.

Out of curiosity, I reinstalled the relay for the blower motor and the blend door actuator the other day.

To my surprise, when I started the truck, everything worked as it should from the factory, despite the heat/AC setting being reversed (likely due to the actuator orientation).

Drove the truck for two days, and the power for the blower motor cut in and out before it stopped working again on a bumpy road.

    Thoughts on this?

Fingers crossed, I don't have to pull the dash to chase wires

Sounds like a loose electrical connection.

Check the blend door connector for pin fitment or corrosion.

Try jiggling/moving the actuator wire harness to see if it starts working again.
