Can you use a engine brake on a automatic or are they just for Std.
Yupper you can. I've seen a legit engine brake on a newer dodge 4500 used for hotshotting as well as all different flavors of exhaust brakes
So it will work on a 2001?
If they make a kit for it LOL. The one I saw was either a 2011 or 12.
LOL ok thanks
Sorry couldn't be more help for your specific engine... I've found the engine brakes for 6.7 Cummins but haven't looked for the 24v
Cool thanks for your help
They dont make engine brakes for the 5.9. only the newer 6.7s have that option from pacbrake right now.
Ahhhh Check BD. They have the kits. I'm making my own and going to just lock the converter when it's engaged. It's just a ground wire
