    RaceME Ultra Custom Tunes?

    I was wondering what changes were made to my custom DRD tune compared to the stock settings?

    He asked only a couple of questions at the time.

    He said back then (2019) that he did a light Trans tune, and the rest were efficiency and timing-related.

    My truck has always shifted smoothly from a dead stop, but it has always had that slag or clunk when you let off the pedal.

    When I run stock files, I dont have that clunk, but it seems to shift harder from a dead stop.

    I can also watch the tuner Gear select stay in 2nd from a rolling stop to pulling off a light.

    I just thought that was weird; it doesn't shift down to 1st.

    I keep the switch in "street " mode most of the time.

    NO IT'S NOT A HEMI!

    Don’t go by the generic labels on your tuner.

    On the switch pad, the HP levels for your tuning are as follows.

    0 = 30 HP
    1 = 60 HP
    2 = 90 HP
    3 = 120 HP
    4 = 150 HP
    5 = 200 HP

    I would reflash with batteries on charge that doesn't seem quite right.

    My apologies, I know my post above is correct for the MM3 tuner switch function, but I see you have a RaceME Ultra.

    Thanks, Bob,

    I thought the batteries would fail the tune if the batteries were low.

    I have emailed Ray and April numerous times just asking the question.

    If the DRD tune is the only one on the SD card how could it work if it didn't take?

    Again, when I retune the ECM, it never gives me the option to install a tune from the SD card, just advanced and standard.

    NO IT'S NOT A HEMI!

    Your tune could load successfully, but some files on your ECM may have been corrupted if your battery voltage is low.

    Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the RaceME Ultra programming sequence.

    Hopefully, others with this experience will chime in.

    If you select “standard,” does it give you the option to access the SD card?

    RaceME Ultra Custom Tunes?

    That is the whole problem.

    It does not give the option to "tune from custom tune file".

    Reading past posts, it states that the card needs to be 2GB or less, formatted for FAT32, and cannot exceed a speed of 10.

    However, the one that comes new from RaceME is a 10 GB and a 6 GB card!

    Re: How to load your new firmware and files to your RaceMe Ultra

    @RATLIN'HP is right.

    Your card should only have those files, @OldSchoolDiesel.

    You've got way too much stuff on your card.

    Also, formatting the card is what has caused 99% of all SD card problems on the forum.

    It's best to leave it as is in the FAT32 format it ships with.

    The incorrect card types have caused the other 1%.

    The Ultra needs to have an SDHC Class 10 card, or it won't work.

    The card should realistically be 2GB or less in size.

    And the Mac thing shouldn't matter, as long as you can download and unzip the files, you're good.

    Getting the files to the SD card is just a matter of copying and pasting.

    I'd recommend going back to the original card.

    Verify that the FAT32 format is used and that the card is correctly named at the time of formatting (it should be labeled 'Ultra', if I'm not mistaken).

    Then, please copy and paste your required files and folders to it, and eject the card before removing it from the computer.

    Let us know how that goes, and we can assess from there!

    The maximum SD card capacity for the MM3 tuner is 32GB I believe it’s the same for the RaceMe Ultra.

    The SD card must be formatted in FAT32.

    You may need to contact RaceME Canada for technical support and to update your tuner firmware.

    See the link below starting with post #13.
