    Headache Of A Parasitic Draw?

Looking for any insight on my issue.

So I’ve been having a problem with my batteries draining if my truck sits for more than a day or two.

I’ve done the parasitic draw test, and the only thing I can find is that VGT is drawing power even hours after shutdown, could it be the TIPM shorting?

Or should I start looking for a turbo?

Not sure what else I can look into.

You will need a wiring diagram to see what else is on that fuse.

If you unplug the actuator, does the draw go away?

Check out the members resources available for free download.

Fuse 37 in the TIPM feeds the Smart Power Relay that feeds the Actuator, EGR Valve and MAF sensor.

I would check the Smart Power Relay (SPR) to see if it’s stuck closed. See diagram for location of SPR.
