Trying To ID My Setup On New To Me RAM 3500

Hey all, I'm too used to my semi-pickup hauling being mysterious.

I have a '17 3500 SRW with the strangest d@mn setup in the bed.

The regular gooseneck hole is there, but behind that (towards the bumper) are two equidistant pucks, not four, as would (I assume) surround the gooseneck hole for weight distribution.

Nope, it's just the two, competently and professionally installed with rim caps and plugs.

What sort of setup uses a configuration like this?

Or do I say screw it and plan on just gooseneck hauling?

    Thanks,
    Uriel

Is there or was there a turnover ball installed?

Under on the frame maybe you can tell from the tuen over bracket rub marks if there was one but removed.

I've seen bed ***** that have just 2 anchor points in the bed.
