As I sit here looking at my fummins, thinking about this and what I have worked on. Aside from the project its self I have had to fix a considerable amount of stuff on this truck. The list starts at fuel gauge and goes all the way to the gauge cluster, seized speedo cable, and more. I look at every part I have spun wrenches on, other than the self inclicted running out of fuel.....(beats head off wall) and tweaking the pump a little, every part I have had to wrench on has been FORD. I think this states why Cummins are not in a ford when new. Cummins owners are accustomed to now fixing their truck, just upgrading it, most of us couldnt keep fixing a ford. I may drive a F'ed Over Rebuilt Dodge but it is still a Fix Or Repair Daily by nature....
This being said, I believe it to be true, if it weren't for FORD my tools would rust.
