With winter around the corner, it's time to look into winter rims and tires.
My current setup isn't set up for the awesome winter season, LOL.
Who do you guys go through when looking at wheels and tires?

The cheapest thing you can find with a load rating for wheels.
They are going to be in the salt.
Chrome won't last long, so go painted.
I prefer the smallest size that fits over brakes for easy chain installation, and it keeps the snow from balling up inside of the wheels and being out of balance.
It depends on the type of snow your area gets.
Up here in the PNW, getting better traction than a BFG in all terrain is nearly impossible.

Ah, gotcha.
I've used custom offsets a few times, and I have no complaints.
They show up on a pallet ready to install.
Doesn't get much easier than that.

Les Swabs is the person I run to for wheels and tires.
I'm unsure if Swabs is just a West Coast company.
As far as I'm aware, Maxxis RZR M\T tires are the only mud terrain tires that offer a 40k warranty.
I run them on everything I own.
They are quiet for an M\T, as well, with a stupid potent compound and sidewall design.
I was a big Toyo M\T person until I tossed them on the dodge.
Horrible mileage on a complete set with proper rotations, 25 to 30k max.
I had them on my old 97 4runner, which seemed to last a few years.
I just purchased a 2018 TRD offroad premium 4runner and tossed a set of the Maxxis on.
