Taking the time to let you know my opinion.

It's a heavy feeling, solid, and tightening the steering play up.

Every situation is different, but it was a good purchase, in my opinion.

My old shaft felt good after removal, but when it was installed, it had a bump and some play.

Replaced with OEM 50k ago.

I read a lot of weird things online, so I'll clear it up.

It bolts up at steering box with a pinch bolt like factory.

At steering wheel, it secures by 2 set screws with lock nuts.

One set screw falls into the stock pinch hole, making me feel safe about how it mounts.

It comes painted nicely, so not rust should happen.

You have to reuse the OEM boot at the firewall. the hole is round, and the new bar is flat on 2 sides.

So some say you get noise and wind through those gaps.

I put some speaker box filler in between the 2 OEM boots, and that solves that issue.

Cut bands off OEM shaft and pull the shafts apart to get oem boots off.

Then, install the 2 halves with the filler in between on the new shaft and feed the assembly through the firewall.

If you need pics, let me know.
