It was a Snap-on Zeus scanner.
It was a Snap-on Zeus scanner.
I'm unfamiliar with the Snap-on menu layout or what model or version software you have.
If I remember correctly, you can check or call the functions available for various years/model vehicles on the Snap-on website.
Usually, it would be listed as 68RFE, which is a quick learn or relearn.
AlfaOBD software will perform this function.
I would be surprised if Snap-On doesn't.

Hello, after the tool recognizes your truck, most scanners use a menu of files of multiple subroutines.
If you do not see a menu for just trans, I would suspect in the engine icon scanner, then trans, then special options tools folder, and then there will be 68RFE relearn subroutine.
I used the Dodge POD and stopped using Snap-on due to their software cost.
This tool is excellent for anyone using a more cost-effective but limited device.
There are others like above is noted thanks @AK Bob

I talked to Randy’s and they gave me the instructions for that snap-on scanner.
Go to transmission, then special function; it says quick to learn.
Just a side note: are quicks learn needed by only replacing the valve body?
I have been looking on the forum, and it seems like some people learn quickly, and many don’t.
Thank you guys.

I understand that a quick-learn and drive-learn are required when replacing the valve body or installing a new or rebuilt transmission.
Only the drive-learn is required after flashing transmission tuning.

So, just an update.
I returned to the shop after work and found on the scanner that it said RFE quick learn.
Clicked on it and it gave instructions on how to perform the trans quick learn.
Took all about 20 seconds to do.
The truck is driving great and I can tell already how much of an improvement it is.
thank you guys for all your input.
This form is truly fantastic and a great community.
It truly is nice to be able to ask a question on here and not get people giving you smart *** answers like you supposed to know answer to your own question
This is one massive difference between us and other Cummins forums online.
The only dumb question is a question not asked, bud!
It's a daily learning curve for all of us here.
